Grupo Lampa reached a major milestone in its metal surplus recycling operations by exporting 26,500 tons of ferrous scrap, marking one of the most significant operations carried out by the company. The shipment was executed through the Port of Talcahuano Terminal (TTPSA).
The operation highlights Grupo Lampa’s operational, production, and logistics capabilities, as well as its role in the management and value recovery of metal materials destined for reintegration into international production processes.
The initiative also stood out for its efficiency, achieving an average loading rate of 4,400 tons per day, the result of close coordination between material preparation, transportation, and port operations.
As part of Grupo Lampa’s role within the recycling value chain, shipments of this scale enable the reintegration of metal surplus into the production cycle, contributing to the reduction of industrial waste and the efficient use of resources, in line with circular economy principles.
This milestone adds to the various operations carried out by Grupo Lampa nationwide, further consolidating its position as a key player in the management, processing, and export of metal scrap, with impact across both the industrial and environmental sectors.
