In our constant commitment to environmental sustainability and corporate responsibility, we are managing a disassembling project for 21 decommissioned train engines from FEPASA. This is destined to have a meaningful impact in the treatment of environmental liabilities.
For the dismantling of the wagons, oxy-cutting equipment and excavators equipped with scrap grapples were used, ensuring a safe and efficient dismantling process. The aim is to recover all the steel components for subsequent recycling.
In this project, Grupo Lampa is generating a positive impact in the circular economy chain by transforming these environmental liabilities into material that will be reused for other activities. “As Grupo Lampa, it is very satisfactory that environmental liabilities are recycled in the right way” said our administrative manager, Rafael Ahumada.
