Grupo Lampa continues to strengthen its leadership in the metal recycling industry. Recently, the company completed the export of 22,000 tons of ferrous scrap, a milestone that reflects the strength of its operations and its contribution to the circular economy.
With more than 20 years of industry experience, Grupo Lampa specializes in the purchasing, processing, logistics, and export of metal surplus, transforming industrial waste into valuable resources for the global market.
The operation was carried out at the Port of Talcahuano Terminal, where loading activities were successfully completed, achieving an average rate of more than 3,300 tons per day. This shipment reinforces Grupo Lampa’s ability to manage large-scale projects while ensuring quality, efficiency, and full compliance at every stage.
Talcahuano Port’s concessionaire highlighted:
“One of the cargo operations where we have demonstrated our experience and capabilities is in the handling of ferrous scrap shipments destined for international markets. This was the case with the recent loading of 22,000 tons transported by the vessel Dema for our client Grupo Lampa, as has occurred on several occasions this year.”
This new international shipment reflects our commitment to:
• Promoting industrial recycling as a driver of sustainability.
• Strengthening ferrous scrap exports as part of the global supply chain.
• Ensuring high standards of safety, efficiency, and traceability across our operations.
At Grupo Lampa, we believe that every ton of scrap processed represents an opportunity to advance sustainable development, generate value for industry, and contribute to a more responsible future. Our commitment is clear: transforming waste into resources through innovation, traceability, and operational excellence.
